Food: These dishes of food are traditional
at wedding ceremonies and receptions. One of the most popular dishes is called “Feijoada.” It is a mix of
black beans and pork, similar to a stew, served with rice, collard greens, and “farofa.” "Farofa" is similar to
couscous, but made with ground and roasted cassavas (manioc,). For dessert, the bride and groom either go with “Bem
Casados,” or opt for something simple, like “Brigadeiros,” a little chocolate ball served in a small paper
cup, decorated with colourful confetti. Drinks: The
bartenders usually prepare traditional Brazilian drinks. The most famous drink is “Caipirinha”. The
cocktails are also a favorite. Tropical fruits, such as pineapple, coconut, tangerines, peaches, and strawberries, serve
as the main ingredients. The bartenders are skilled at making such delicious drinks.
